Need advice using melafix and pimafix on cory

Hey everybody, I was hoping for some help using meds. This is the first time I've had to use them and need a little advice. Some background.....

I've had a 10 gallon for about 8 months now with some tetra's, cories and 2 ADF's and everything was going well until one of my cories got listless and started swimming funny. I chose to euthanize him after watching this get worse for 2 weeks (That's a tale for another time) Anyway my wife went out and bought two new cories while I was at work and against my better judgement I told her to acclimate them and put them in the tank. Being busy with kids and work I didn't have a chance to check out the new additions for two days. When I did I noticed one cory had significant barbel damage. A few days later he had what I can only describe as a big pimple on the tip of his nose. My brother who has kept aquariums for about half my life was positive it was a fungus and gave me some of the Jungle Fungus Tabs. After two rounds of the tabs the cory appeared to improve some but not completely. I've kept up with water changes so I feel the water qaulity is good (Ammonia 0 Nitrites 0 Nitrates ~ 20 with 2 30%-40% water changes per week) but now I'm not sure what to do. My cory still hasn't healed completely but he hasn't gotten worse. I'm very nervous that my frogs or my tetras will get ill.

I guess what I'm getting at is should I add more meds? I bought melafix and pimafix (sp) thinking I would start dosing but I'm not sure. Any advice would be appreciated.

(I'm trying to get pics but I suck at taking pics of my fish. I've been trying for a few days but no luck. I'll keep working at it )

Im having trouble with the melafix i just added yesterday. Caused them to gasp for air and lose color. Stressed them out so i put the carbon back in. I use to have a frog and it died of a water change. They are very sensitive and hard to keep. I would do alot of research before puttin anything else in. If they aren't sensitive to salt I'd do a half dose of that for a start. It helps calm them down and speeds up recovery. I know my clown loach was sensitive to it and when i done a full dose when the tank got really dirty due to no time and nasty filter. I done a 50per. change and added salt for the 29. Well anyways, Hes died the next day a horrible death. Was fine till the salt and water change. It got worst case of ich id ever seen. But it may have been velvet after doing so research. It was millions of tiny white dots like it was peppered with it. Good Luck and hope they are ok now.
