R/O water storage question

I would like to make up a 44 gallon supply of R/O water in a big GOTT trash can to make water changes easier and with less mess. Once Ive made up the water what if anything do I need to do to the water to maintain it ?

Keep it heated and circulated with a small powerhead.

Do NOT keep DI water in a metal container. Only foodgrade plastic.
