Areation to the rescue?

I have a tank with CO2 and the plants all love it.
All with the exception of my grasses, I tried
something low but they keep yellowing and dying.

One exception is a clump of grass I planed
in the middle of about 6" ring of flexible airstone.
The thing is green whils other died.

What is the process here that keeps it alive?

Do you know what plant it is? Are you sure it's aquatic? Is it growing? If it's only sitting there and still green, but not growing. then maybe it just hasn't died yet. I can't see a connection between the plant and the airstone. It wouldn't even cause an increase in O2 concentrations around the plant, which was my original though. So I don't know, weird. You'll have to keep it alive and grow it longer, then move it and see whether it keeps up to see if the airstone really did some magic.

Can you post some pictures? That would help a lot! :)
