Hi to all,
I am in the process of setting up a 33 gallon fowlr. I have 20lbs of live sand from carribsea,(fiji pink). I have about 30lbs of live rock from a tank thats been running about 8mo. The rock came with some star polyps as a hitchhiker. What I am wondering about is the background. I am getting a coralife super skimmer and they are terrible looking. What background should I use to cover the back?

I got blue. Looks good with the coralline. If you start getting coralline algae, trust me you will get alot once you have some, you wont need a background :p:

thanks for suggestions, I think i will go with a flat black if I can find it. Now I just need to figure out what to do about the top.. Anyone have a coralife super skimmer? How hideous are they installed and what did you do to help if anything? Mine will be installed friday. I'll try and get some pics up soon if anyone is interested. The tank has only been up two weeks so far.

no matter what type of paint you get it will be glossy loooking through glass. I think a black backround makes the colors stand out more. Personally I scrape the coraline algae off the glass, makes it look cleaner.
