I've posted to another forum but got no response. Does anyone here know where I can get info on breeding botia angelicus. Also known as botia kubotai or the polka dot loach? Have a female that gets very heavy with eggs but don't have any info.

How rude!! People here are usually very nice and very informative. Why post if you have no answers???

Its generally considered poor form to post the same question in multiple forums at the same time. Threads get messy and it generally doesn't work out.

As a general rule, loaches are hard to breed.

Google turned up some sites when I searched for "botia angelicus breeeding". This one (http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/encyclopedia-164.html) is typical. Short version: "Breeding: No captive breeding reports, little or nothing is know about breeding Botia kubotai (Polka-dot Lochs)".
