Anybody here from greenville? I'm thinking about moving down there to be closer to my family that lives in various cities around the carolinas. My sister lives there, but I'm a Yankee born and bred. I would really miss my friends who have been like a family to me for the last seven years (ever since the last of my family packed their carpet bags and moved south).

Is there any kind of fish scene in Greenvelle Spartanburg?
 
Hi Mooman. I live in Simpsonville, S.C. It's just about 20 minutes from Greenville. It's truly a wonderful place to live if you like a nice quiet place. They roll the streets up at about 6 pm. lol There's really not much of a selection of fish stores around this area. Just the local pet*mart and pe*co. I get most of my fish online.

I've lived in both Spartanburg and Greenville- there is a small but fairly nice place on the highway between the two cities (or at least there was 5 years ago when I lived there)- other than that, as the person above mentioned- you're going to rely on chain stores.


There's a PetCo in Greenville now? I've never seen a PetCo in South Carolina before!


As for Greenville- I love Greenville... great city- Greenville's not a big city- but it's big enough to have just about everything you'd want and still have a bit of a small town feel.

I'd move back there in a heartbeat. Live in Columbia now and it's the worlds most boring city.
 
I live about 40 minutes north of Greenville in NC. I am also a transplant and I can say that I really do like living in this area. The Carolinas are great. I love Greenville. There is a fish club in Charlotte and yes Wycco, there is a Petco in Greenville now altho the fish really do not look that healthy....but the tank sales are great!
