I have had a couple of dwarf gourami's in the 20 gal for about 3 months and will move the the 29gal within a month. This morning I noticed the blue is bloated, he is a little pale, and his scales are sticking out where he is swollen, but is acting fine. None of the other fish have anything wrong. Ammonia +nitrite=0, nitrate 30, temp 82, ph 7.5, kh 5, gh 12, phos 3. Anyone know whats up?

You should test your water and give the experts here your water parameters. Ammonia, Nitrates, Nitrites, pH.

I posted the responce to this question on the other forum but it seems your gourami has dropsy, and your temp is up there on the scale of too high, I keep my gourami tanks at 75

Just search the forum for dropsy. Unfortunately, by the time the scales are coned there's usually not much you can do except make the guy as comfortable as possible. Gouramis, in particular, are prone to dropsy. And nitrates are a little high. Do water changes and get them down to below 20 if you can.
Good luck,
Mary.
