Animal Kingdom Florida

Animal Kingdom is a Disney theme park

Yes, I've been. I think it's great, and it seems to be the forgotten Disney park. It is smaller than the other Disney park, and the price is the same. It never seems as crowded as the other parks, but that may change now that Expedition Everest has opened. You have to keep in mind this is a park based on animals and nature, so if your kids are looking for roller coasters and thrill rides galore, this isn't the place for you. Busch Gardens Tampa would be a better choice for that, it has a nice blend of rides with some animals/nature sprinkled throughout. Be warned however, BG is hugh! A 25 minute walk from one side of the park to the other.

If your looking for Disney lite, Animal Kingdom is a good choice.

There are some enclosures with animals, and a lot of the rides/shows are animal themed. There is also Dino Land which is great if your little ones are into dinosaurs. There's a huge sand pit where they can "excavate" fossils. Very cool. The usually spattering of shows ala Disney style.

There is a great movie sort of thing inside the tree of life. I don't think multimedia describes it correctly...

We have yearly passes, so my husband and I go for an hour two, have lunch, and go home. 1 day at any theme park for 4 people is quite an investment. A bottle of water is $4! And Disney is dry, on adult beverages, even in park restaurants.

There is more than one place called animal kingdom....

You need to put that its Disney's animal kingdom so we know what your talking about.

;) Ive been there quite a few times.

The Kilimanjaro Safari is worth the price to get in all on its own. Nothing else like it anywhere in the US.
