Ph Levels

Hi any information appreciated on how to keep ph levels as near to 8.3
as possible. Levels in my marine tank fall very rapidly
Have many buffers but there must be a better way.
I do the periodic water changes add buffer -test all ok
within 48 hours ph has dropped too low :help:

What sort of substrate are you using?

Are you adding any additives (perhaps some that are designed for fresh water)?

What type of water (tap, RO/DI, natural sea water) are you using for water changes?

If you're mixing your own water, what brand of salt are you using?

Hi - using RO Water only -coral chippings -Kent marine additives
Reef crystal salt :idea:

What do you have for LR, live rock will help keep your ph stable.
I also use Aquarium Pharmaceutical proper ph 8.2 sets ph to 8.2 and increases carbonate hardness.
