what is this cichlid called...i dont have a picture

i dont know what they are called but i always thought they were convicts just a slightly different color. i am going to try to describe them..
they are like a white or baby blue with dark blue verticle stripes.

You know...I thought frontosa too. But I dont think thewy look all that alike if were talking size/body shape/ striping.

well....i didnt think they looked exactly like the convicts. i only saw a few of them and they were younger ones.

most likely its a lake malawi african cichlid
look up some of the pseudotropheus species
try Pseudotropheus saulosi, male has the blue with darker stripes, females are orange
