yep, it's that time of year again! Playoffs are about to start, and Atlanta's loss yesterday assured us a spot in the playoffs (us being Montreal)...
So, what's your team? Who are you rooting for? Is playoff time as exciting for you guys as it is for me?

Hey penfan66 don't feel bad man. . .
that one game where you played Montreal, and Crosby completely tricked Theodore and made him look like he's never played hockey in his life, was a classic.
I never liked theodore, and I'm sure they'll keep that clip of crosby beating him for a very long time!!!
Stupid Lazy Canucks.... grrrrrrrrrrrr...

GO SENS GO!
I kinda wished the Leafs would've made the Playoffs, because we would've swept them! (It's also ironic Quinn is gone when Ferguson is probably the one to blame!)
I think this might be the year for the SENS!
Go Habs as well

You guys can be lucky that you are not Bruins fans. . . It has been one of the worst seasons of my life. Thorton and Samsonov gone, poor Glen Murray still can't believe it. The coach is so overmatched it's not funny. The owner is a, well I can't say it in a public forum. Tim Thomas had a 92+% save percentage and we still couldn't win. I now root for the Sharks! Cheechoo must get down on his knees every night thanking the Almighty for sending Jumbo Joe to him. I can't even discuss this rationally.

And Ferguson couldn't fire himself, now could he? So he got rid of the competition! That weasel is useless!

No worries Slappy.
There is a reason that the Canes had 52 wins and finished 1st in their divison and 2nd in the conference while the Habs had 42 and finished 7th.
This game has awoken the sleeping Giant. It may take 7 games (I say 6) but the Canes will win this series. They have way too much talent.

Ow this is hurting...It's like we sent in Charlie Chaplin to challenge Mohammad Ali for the title (old Ali, not present day Ali)
My gosh! Game three, the Oilers just dominated the Wings and crushed them.
Game four, it was pretty even. Except the lousy officiating, which people in the booth (from both sides of the team) was saying was horrible.
Some of those calls were ridiculous! Even one of the penalties I saw on the Oilers was lame (I missed the whole first period).
But really, it was pathetic that the Wings had to be sure to not touch any of the Oilers, cept when it was a clean check.
And Pronger's check on Cleary was the absolute best. But that little guy got right back up and kept skating. I was impressed by both of them. Then again, I've always liked Pronger.

It seems like everyone's complaining about the officials.. . . And I agree with them. Quite a few bad calls have been made, and quite a few potential penalties have been missed.
Especially during such important games, it would really suck that a team loses due to bad officiating.
Hey, where did this Ward kid come out of for the Hurricanes? He stole the game from us!! If he consistantly plays the way he did on Wed. night, he'll surely be a highly respected goaler in the league!!!

Canes in 6.
After Brodeur (which is allot) the Devils fall far off from that point.
If the goaltending stays solid we should be able to out hustle the Devils

Is it just me, or is the "new" NHL boring to watch compared to the "old" NHL. Old school players must be laughing at the game now and how they call hooking, smiply if the stick touches another players mid section. I find it ridiculous!
Congrats to Edmonton, that was a fun series to watch, but it's kinda sad in a way that we may have watched Steve Yzerman's last game. He is truly one of the coolest hockey players!

Ok, relax guys, the week off hurt and then losing this game was a joke and a half, but there will definitely be fight in the devils, remember, they were 19 points out of the division and won it, so anything is possible. And this was the same team a few years ago who came back from being down 3-1 to philly and won the series and then the cup. They have a huge road ahead of them and they put themselves there, but hey, don't think for a second its over. Maybe the canes should stop slamming into brodeur and attempting to injure him to win and just stick to playing the game.
