My PH is around 8.5. Everytime I get it back down, it shoots back up. What should I do? I've used Correct PH and have tried PH down but nothing works.:(

I'm going to guess that the shooting back up refers to water change time? What is your water source like? pH Down can only work so well when there is a lot of hardness in the water, because the buffering capacity will overcome any attempt to lower pH almost every time (until you hit a huge crash, that is). Please tell us a little bit more about the other parameters in your tank, especially KH/GH.

Your water is pretty similar to mine. I asked a similar question in a thread below. JSchmidt gave a good answer and explination. Here is a link to it http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7261
