Is it possible to overdose on De-chlorinator?
Could the Melafix be the problem?

One my juvenile angels has had fin rot for a week or so, but nothing serious. Hes been eating fine and showing no signs of distress at all. The only impact the fin rot was having was how it looked, so figured I better clear it up before it starts getting any worse.

Set up my 30L hospital tank last night, with some filter media from my 130L. Added 5ml of melafix. Everything was fine until about an hour ago (about 14 hours after I put the fish in) when I checked on him, really really not happy. Hes laying low on the bottom not really moving much, and when he does move hes to be going onto his side and flailing about at the bottom of the tank.

He not showed any signs of distress at all before now so Im seriously thinking about putting him back into the big tank.

PH 6.9
am- 0
Ni- 0
Na- 2
Temp - 81F

Just done a water change. And Na are at 0. Also, put some bloodworms in which he ate, but still seems very distressed.

The water is slightly cloudy, but Im guessing thats the melafix?

:(
