Pics from the Georgia Aquarium..taken today !!

Here are a few picture that I took today at the Georgia Aquarium. FANTASTIC place !

THese are just a few of the pics I took...the better ones. I took over 300 :eek: there today !! I was thinking of you all while I was there snapping away...trying to get some that I knew would be of interest to some of you here...like the cichlid and the discus tanks.

I'm posting these as thumbnails, just click on them for the larger view......I'll post more pics when I get home...right now I'm on my Dad's computer and it's not setup quite like mine is. I do hope the thumbnails come up for you. My dad's puter isn't bringing them up, but he's having issues with his internet at the moment. Let me know if you can get the larger view when you click on the pics...if not I'll have to fix it when I get home, when I'll also post some more !! :D

They have 2 whale sharks in that tank !!! http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/confused/confused0066.gif They are awsome !! They have all these little yellow jacks that swim right in front of their mouths all the time.

This is the one with the six - million gallon whale shark tank right? If it is I saw it in action on daily planet, was gonna post on here so some of you could see the rerun but never did, think I was to tired and went to bed.

Glad you all are enjoying the pics...I'll post some more when I get the time. We got home tonight (MAN....LONG drive !!)....and I went through all the tanks as soon as I got here. I only lost the female ram that was doing poorly before I left.....and most of the smallest fry in my multifasciatus tank....but it won't take them very long to replenish themselves...lol.

The ram fry are all looking good, and so are the stappersi fry. My dart frogs looked a bit thin, but I tossed them in a good supply of fruitflies. Other than that everything looks great ! (I had someone come over twice to feed everyone while we were gone. They all went two days at the most without a feeding and I had fed everyone one up good before I left. We were gone for a week.)

I'll post some closeup shots of the cichlids from that african tank...and some pics of the "tunnel" you walk through that "BIG" tank. I have a few of the very LARGE reef tank as well. It must be about 40-50 feet long and about 12feet tall !!!
