I'm curious...anyone planning to see it, or is everyone so put off Tom Cruise that they won't go?
I'm just wondering if there is anyone else out there so put off by his attention seeking behavior that it's changed their mind about watching his movies. I think someone needs to recalibrate his psych meds...oh wait, he's not on any..oops.

I'll rent the DVD. :) I'm not much of a theater goer these days.
Peace...
Like tomdkat i'll rent it. I stopped going to the movies a long time ago. $9.50 per person and you have to listen to idiots talking on a cell phone.
5 or 6 months later I can rent it for $3.00 and watch it in peace.

Going to theather is expensive in the US! Here, in Costa Rica, a regular ticket is about $2.15. Children and golden agers pay around $1.75.
Well, I don't care what Tom Cruise does in his private/public life. I've enjoyed Mission: Impossible since I was a kid, and also liked a lot the 2 previous movies. If God allows me to, I'll go.

Number one: I have never liked Tom Cruise, never found him sexy, never found him having much depth as an actor, and he is completely insensitive to other people.
Number two: This doesn't mean I haven't enjoyed many of his movies (sorry, don't categorize them as "film") such as Top Gun, The Last Samurai, even early--Risky Business, and MI 1&2 (I own a number of his flicks). But I always find myself thinking, hmm, I wonder how so and so would do this so much better???
Number three: I don't go to the theatres anymore; well, I did go to see Seabiscuit with my girlfriends. Overpriced, people are rude and talk throughout the movie, and if someone asks them to be quiet--politely--they get a major attitude and show everyone just how much of an a**hole they can be!!
Will I "invest" in MI3? Well, I do like a sense of completion with series, but I'll probably borrow it from someone first to see if I'll want to watch it more times. The first two are usually last options on a rainy weekend, along with Charlie's Angels. My 2 taters. :p: ~Renee

... I stopped going to the movies ... ..What does it mean, "going to the movies" ?
I too will watch it from the comforts of home on the DLP set. As far as what Cruise does in his personal life and TV 'interviews' doesn't matter to me... I've heard others talk of his bizarre actions/statements, and they could just as well be an "act".
Good actors are good deceivers.
