Hello all!
I'm new to the forum (first post), but I thought I had to cry this from the roof tops: I run a Pet store in Calgary Canada and we have a pair of Pignose Puffers that have successfully spawned in one of our tanks.
I have been told that this is a pretty rare occurrence. Is it as rare as people keep telling me?

Thanks for your time

Well, I have poor quality video (it was taken using my cell phone) of them actually doing the "nasty". Not sure where to post that as I don't have the bandwidth to post it myself. The video is 1.4 megs. Let me know (please) if anyone has a good solution to that.

The fry themselves are pretty small, so I'm not 100% sure if I'll be able to get a good pic of them, but I will give it a try.

Tetraodon suvattii, the pignosed/hognosed puffer or arrowhead puffer, was first reported captive bred back in the early 1970s and may have been the one of the first FW puffers captive bred, but it is still an accomplishment, Now if you raise the fry you will be doing quite well. Congratulations!
