I read tonight that Anubias, like java moss and ferns, should not be buried but attached to a rock or something. However, my dwarf anubia is buried, and seems very happy, growing new leaves like a little green monster. Should I let it stay buried, or is it worth digging it up a bit and attaching it to one of my many spots?

IMHO & IME, Anubias grows best with the roots in the substrate. The rhizome (from which both the roots and leaves arise) should not be buried or it can rot.

Well, I guess it makes sense then why it's flourishing, since the roots are buried but the rhizome is not. I was worried about the rhizome, but I won't now. Thanks!
