pregnant guppy about to drop?

i saw a yellow ball shaped thing come out, but nothing else came out. she's still eating and everything and swimming up and down. does this mean she's going to drop soon?
 
catch them quick! if you don't have a breeding net thne use a plastic container, but get a breeding net as soon as poss
 
.....or you could just let her eat all of them. That is, if u really don't want them.
 
i put caught the mom in the regular hand net, i dont know if she's done giving birth, but she looks done, she dropped some empty eggs and some yolk, im gonna grab some tulle and make a breeder net
 
ok you do that. its no wander she is eating them- the babies hav no where to hide in a breding net from her! i'd say take her out of the net (but not the babies) and let her give birth in the tank. at least then the babies will hav somewhere to dash and hide. then, as soon, as you can, pick the babies out of the tank and put thme in the breeding net all together. Check the tank well- every nook and cranny

im just catching the babies as she has them now. i have 5 in a little plastic cup. im gonna put them in another empty tank
 
now i got 8 fry! and she's still not done yet... but im pretty sure this is her first batch, so im not expecting much
 
total babies = 11
total babies eaten = 2
total babies alive and well and separated from mother(temporarily) = 9
total babies deformed = so far 0

all is good!
