Oh man I can't believe i didn't check carefully before I let them loose. I aclimated them for over four hours in the bag too. I let them loose about 2 hours ago and they kinda hid a first...just went to check them and wouldn't ya know they have ICH!
I don't have a hospital tank but do have an empty 10 gallon in the basement. I will take them back to LFS in the morning. In the meantime, what should I do with them? Have they already contaminted my healthy tank? HELP QUICKLY PLEASE! : (
I guess I put too much faith in my LFS...they've never let me down before....

I would just fill up that tank, declorinate the water, and put them in there. In the morning, when you bring them back, get an ich medicine and treat your tank.

Thanks NJ Devils Fan. I was too lazy to dig out the 10 gallon tank so I filled up a 3 gallon bucket, dechlorinated, and put the in there. :o
I feel kind of bad for them in there :( the poor little guys. They're so pretty too. No I'm bummed!

This probably has nothing to do with the Ich, but isn't 4 hours too long to 'acclimate' the fish, in the bag? Any responses please..... ?

Hi Joe. These fish were in a PH of about 6.6 and my PH is abt. 7.6. Pearl Gourami's are adaptable to a wide range of PH's but it has to be done slowely or else they'll croak. Every half our about a half cup of tank water is added to the bag until it's full and then they are introduced to the tank. I've had success with this method with other fish as well.
Not that it matters with these pearl Gourami's since they had the Ich. One jumped out of the bucket and I found him dead on the floor this morning :( . I can't wait for LFS to open so I can bring them back!
