I have a pair of peppered cory's in one of my community tanks. They are 2-2 1/2" long. I have had them for 2 years. I found one of my cory's stuck to the inflow of my HOB filter. I thought he was dead but when I went to net him out he swam away. This was 5 days ago. He has been either floating upside down on the surface or at the bottom since then. I can see his gills moving but he does not seam able to control his balance. Otherwise he looks great. nice and chubby, good color, clear eyes, but he just floats around the tank. I don't think he is eating either. Am I going to loose this fish or is there something I cab do to help him. My water is aok. 0 ammonia 0 nitrite 20 nitrate ph 7.8 ( a little high but it has always been ) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your comments.

It is possible that he has some swim bladder damage and/or some other internal injuries...may not be more you can do other than wait it out to see if he makes it...
