I have a plant, I have fish. I want to buy liquid co2 for my plant. CAN CO2 HURT FISH IN ANY WAY?

Can Co2 hurt you in anyway?....you know you do breathe Oxygen right?...Too much CO2 can kill fish of course.

If you follow the directions on the bottle and reasonable common sense your carbon supplement should not 'hurt' your fish.
CO2 gas and it's counterpart Excel, the two most frequently used carbon sources can and will kill fish if used thoughtlessly and without regard to directions. If used properly they push plants to grow resulting in increased O2 in the water table. The bottom line is happy plants and happy fish.
If you have questions about the use of either, post a question here and someone will help you with your dosages.

I just wanted to know if co2 supplements were compatible with fish. I did not know if they were just for planted tanks. That is a normal question right? That is what these forums are for? I don't understand why people are so rude? It's not just him, many nuts are on here, I think they have a mental disease, they think it's okay to be rude to people if they think they are helping then.

Sometimes you just have to take the less thoughtful of our members with the rest. Maybe someone is having a bad day and is a bit over the edge. Sorry if any feelings were ruffled.
And yes, it was a perfectly appropriate question for this forum. As I mentioned, be careful with your dosage and if you have questions ask first for the sake of the fish.
Maybe, start with a 1/2 recommended dosage and see how the plants respond.

BTW, I like your handle.....very original.:)

Sorry -- but this sounds exactly like "fishieperson" on another thread. There was not reason to respond that way -- if you are for real, then just ask questions and accept the answers -- otherwise, go elsewhere.

I guess that confirms it -- I suggest that no-one answer on this thread again,
just as people are stopping on the related threads.

You know people. If you have more experience with fish, please be considerate of the people that do not know as much. Someone helped you out, so please help others out too. I thought that is what this forum was for?
