I just started dating this girl and she has a 30g tank. Now, its plain but has a really nice looking plant in it. I dont know what it is, and she doesnt remember either.
Do any of you have any clue what it is? Light requirements?

Your link does not work. I looked at the properties and there is no link tied to the title.

Nice call, Roan. Google tells me the common name is fanwort.
I had the same question. My honey gourami has found great entertainment disassembling this stuff over the past month, but I didn't know what it is called. I bought it at my LFS, but I could not remember the name.
IM(limted)E it needs at least moderate light.
It is not doing well in my rather dim 33g (1 watt per gallon). In my 2-watts-per-gallon 5g it is doing better, but not keeping ahead of the gourami.

Nod, depending on the type it actually does better in high to very high light.
The green stuff moderate to high light and the reds and purples need high to very high light.
I only knew what it was because I have some purples and greens in different tanks.
If you are trying for Cabomba and don't have the light, try to find some sessiflora -- IF it's not banned in your state. It will grow in a much lower light.
