Lots of Pearling

Hello,

I want to share some pictures with you guys. I had a lot of bad things going on with my plants, but since turning on the DIY reactor, my plants have been pearling and looking better and better. They even have some color.

I thought I was seeing my plants produce lots of oxygen, but it didn't take long for me to realize that it was just air bubbles from doing water changes. Doh, I'm so silly :duh:

Your tank looks great! Are you using ferts? If so, what is your dosing schedual?

I've changed my dosing since then (the plants are using up everything).

Po4= 15 drops 3 x a week
Kno3= 1/2 tsp @ w/c and 1/4 x 2 a week.
K= 1 1/2 tsp @ w/c
Ca= I keep it @ 40 ppm (I'll dose according to the tap)
Mg= 3 1/2 tsp @ w/c
Fe= 4 mls 2 x a week
Traces= 7 mls 3 x a week.

At this point these regime seems to be working. Although, I'd love to see some more red in my plants. I hope to figure this out soon.

The plants are recovering rapidly. I hope to have a carpet of hairgrass soon. Wish me luck.

P.S. What I love most is the pearling. It looks like a bubble factory in there.
