Was checking out my tank this evening (29 gallon planted), and noticed what looks like eggs stuck in 4-5 clumps on the glass.

White with a gray spot (the little fishey embryo?) about 1/16 " in diameter.

Only fish of the same species that I have more than one are 3 Black fin Tetras, 2 Wag Tail Platys, 3 Glass fish and 8 Neons.

So far none of the fish seem to want to snack on them. Move them to another tank, or will they survive on their own?

Snails possibly?

I'm guessing snails too. They're very common in a planted tank.

If they are snails, then they are different than the ones I've been picking out for the last 6 months!

Might be, but they are not moving, no shells etc.

I don't think snails develop their shells until after they hatch.

All of your fish are egg scatterers or livebearers and could not be the source. If the "eggs" are in the same spot since you found them, they are not planaria and there is a snail or two you do not know about which have laid eggs.

They are all in the same spots; same pattern on the glass.

So best to remove and destroy?

I guess it depends on whether or not you want more snails.
