I would agree with the above statement. If your tanks have the same water paramaters, and is cycled, then just move them. If both thanks are unplanted and have regular weekly water changes, then they should be almost identicle. Otherwise move them as if you were getting new fish. Net them, and do drip acclimation.
Drip acclimation: Drain some water from the tank they are in into a bucket (for new fish use the water they came in). Add fish to bucket. Use airline with a knot tied it in and start a siphon so that water from the new tank drips into the bucket. If you don't want to do that, use a measuring cup and add 1/4 cup of water every 5-10 minutes untill you double (or triple, the more the better) the water volume. Don't use measuring cups from the kitchen. There could be soap on them that kills the fish, and you don't want to use that after it was in your tank. Get some cheap ones from a dollar store or something and use it just for your tank.
