Alright, I decided not to make this a poll as possiblities are endless. Think carefully--come back with your post if you need to. And be as thorough as you can (sorry, teacher coming out again!!):

If you could be ANY kind of Aquarium, what would you be, and why? Would "where" be a consideration? What would you have in you? Etc. You can include as much or as little as you want, since this is YOU! BTW, I can't decide whether to limit it to human-manufactured tanks or include nature's bodies of water (I'm a Libra!) so--ya'll make that call. Have fun!!

(I'm not copping out by not giving my response--as Yuri pointed out ( ) I'm not so good at making thoughts early, before caffeine. I'll do it later.)

LOL, Dirk, no, that one's pretty out there in the open--maybe I should have made it a guessing game--"What kind of an aquarium do you think --fill in the blank -- would be!! Giggle. . .

I'm not so thrilled about being an aquarium (especially if the owner was lazy about changing water - yuck!), but maybe a mountain river or stream...perhaps a river where salmon spawn. I like the idea of clean, fresh water...a fast river...waterfalls, lots of wildlife. Yup, I'd be a river. :D

I think I'd be a single-species Eel tank...but i need to make sure I have a tight lid.

Clean, very clean.

:D

This is a tough question...
I need more time to think about this one.

Ok, I'm back..

A planted Discus tank, without hair algae!

Simple for me. I would be the 40 gallon tank or the 20 gallon tank in my kids rooms. That way I could entertain them, and watch over them while they sleep. Corny I know...but true. It wouldn't matter what kind of fish, probably small and colorful. Whatever the kids would decide to fill me with.

Most of us already live in a fish bowl....look around, can't you see the "aquarium glass" that surrounds you....OK, I'm not really that serious; as long as I am in any tank with my wife-mommy fish and my 5 children-baby fishes and as long as we can swim "all over the dam" without contracting ich and its like, then I would be happy! But remember, the water always appears clearer on the other side of the glass...ouch*

Good answer.

..and in the same spirit, I'd have to say I would be the Pacific Ocean.
