resealing 180 gallon

I just picked up a 180 gallon aquarium, pre drilled with built in overflow dirt cheap, but I think it need so be taken apart and resealed. I did an online search for step by step process of doing this but came up with nothing. Does anyone know of any links, or point me in the right direction?

im just curious, but why does it need to be dismantled and resealed?

I salvaged a tank from the dump once (big one 100 gal +) and i replaced a cracked side, i let it sit full at the head of my drive way for about 2 weeks before moving it inside. it looked real rough before i scroubed it down but it held up fine until it was broken during a remodel of the house. (someone hit it with an axe)
