 i had a clown loach for a while before someone told me they were best kept in groups. at the moment my tank is fairly small so i went out and got one more. most of the time they get on fine, but today they have started to attack each other, and yesterday they ganged up on a small angel i had just put in the tank and killed it. the fish are in good health and i cannot find any reason within there enviroment for this aggression. is this maybe to do with whos the top dog or is there something i should be looking for. please help as i love these two characters.

they were correct, but two is not a group. get 4-5 more and they'll behave in a manner befitting clown loaches. if your tank is not large enough, don't keep fish that grow too large for it to begin with.

im getting a bigger tank soon (why are we never satisfied with the ones weve got) so ill get a few more then thanks

I have 7 clowns and they won't even chase barbs away from their banana.
I've never seen any aggression toward each other or another fish. They snuggle my 16" pleco!@#?
