I just got my pleco over body fungus and now another fish is sick. This time I think it is ICK. My pictus catfish I have noticed has been acting weird for the past month. He will swim up the side of the 90 gallon community tank all day. It also seemed to me like he would scratch himself on the rock cave I have in there too. Tonight I noticed about six white sposts around his dorsal fin and one close to his tail fin. I used up all of my coppersafe tonight to treat it. I am going to get more or some Ick medicine. My other fish seem fine and have no white spots. Is this ick and what is a good medicine to treat it with when my fish are in a 90 gallon tank?
Here is a list of my fish: 2 blue gouramis, 2 kissing gouramis, 2 neon gouramis, 1 dwarf gourami, 2 pictus catfish, 3 plecos, 4 mixed fuit tetras, 1 lace catfish, and 1 red finned shark.

Just an FYI, Pictus are not only difficult to identify ich on, but they seem to be highly prone to ich and very sensative to meds. One of the reasons I have gathered and researched so much on ich is because I have kept pictus cats most of my life, and have tried everything with them. IME and IMHO, Salt is by far the best cure when these fish are in the tank. Hope things work well for you and the article helps out.
