Hey i installed 2x redsea turbo co2 system, which is basically a fancy diy. It comes with a small water pump thingy that you put inside the tank.

1) The airtube that connects the bottle to the pump is filled with water right now (the portion that's inside the tank). Is that ok?

2) the instruction says it takes 24 hrs for it to begin working, how do i tell if it's working or not? Right now the pumps just burst out a wave of tiny bubbles every couple mins.

thanks!

I have one installed, and exactly the same experience..

my tube seems to fill partially with water while the pump is off or the room is cooler during the night. during the day the water is expelled then I get the same puffs of bubbles that you do.

I'm assuming, or at least hoping, that the bubbles are CO2.

Some of the purists on the site will suggest that the best way to know if it's CO2 would be to monitor and test for CO2.
