Brown stuff everywhere!!!!!!!

I have a brown film all over my live rock and live sand. One day I found it appear from no where. I started up my 45 gal. tank 4 weeks ago and have been doing my tests and water changes regularly. All my tests are perfect and dont know what to do. Should I be adding any crabs, shrimp or snails ect. yet? How long should I have the light on and when can I start adding fish? Thanks for any answers.

A 4-week old tank is still a baby! You can expect to go through a series of algae blooms. The brown stuff you see is likely diatoms.

If your cycle has run its course, you can go ahead and add your cleanup crew. They'll help keep the algae at bay.
