I have a 30gal tank that is about 1 1/2 months old. Last week we added 3 live plants and 2 baby Guramis, and a pictus catfish. Since that time we have had a Ich outbreak on the pictus cat, and 1 of the baby guramis(the other disappeared, think the others ate her). We have been treating the water with salt and temp for the Ich(1 tsp per 2 gal water, now found that is too little of a mix), but want to know how to correct cloudy issue(if it really needs to be corrected).

The addition of extra fish probably brought in the disease. Also it probably sent your tank into a mini cycle because it was suddenly recieving more ammonia. Do a 20-25% water change every day or a 30-40% every two to try and reduce the cloudyness.
