I have vallisneria, anubia and bacopa are these plants ok with salt? I have clown loaches that may need some ich treatment @ 2tsp per 5 gallons so I was wondering if my plants will be ok or if I should move them?

Yes, your plants will be fine however 2 tsps salt per 5 gallons of water will not kill ich. You need 1½-2 tsps salt per gallon to kill ich. Here is an article on salt + heat for ich treatment:

I had an ich problem and was nervous to treat a planted tank, but the plants did just fine. The only thing that didn't was the ich :D

I followed the procedure recommended by daveedka in the article RA linked to, and it went perfectly. I used 2 tsp per gallon.

And now...I quarantine religiously!

thanks Roan Art and EcoPit! I am sooooo nervous about it. I raised the tank to 82.5 over the course of 2 days from 79. I will start adding salt tonight. I am still not too sure if it is ich but I want to catch it in case. I only saw a couple little white spots on 1 of my little clowns, nothing on anybody else.
Here goes..........{*holds breath and looks at tank nervously*}
