Yeah I've had anthelia grow onto bubble algae before... makes it super easy to frag .

Well, this is one of the recommended ways to fight a serious bubble algae outbreak. Any encrusting coral will do, as it won't give the bubble algae a place to grow on the rock. And after a little while it will kill it as bubble algae needs light to grow.

Of course, manual removal is still king in ridding your system of this stuff...
