:mad2: never man .fish bowels will always evenutally kill .the airation is poor especially for my favorate goldies the get most of thier air from the surface and the surface in a death bowel is very small also the amonia level the guys produce also thier waste only addes up tp more chances of death i have experienced the same as you a friend gave me some fish and a bowel you can guess the rest get a tank man and a decent filter about 15 bucks for a good tetra product and a air stone find out about water changes too i have heard that with good care mostly water quilitly and reduced feedings goldfish can live more than 10 years you will do fine my friend and getting into fish keeping is great fun
