Python is leaking right under the first part near the faucet. It leaves a huge puddle. It used to leak a little now it leaves a huge puddle is it just me or do I need a replacement or something?
Have you replaced the hose washers recently? If not, change the existing washers for new ones.

I've cracked many a part on my python. It's just going to happen with plastic parts that are moved and threaded so often. If the washer's aren't the culprit, inspect for any cracks where the water is coming from. you can buy replacement parts for the python from many fish supply places and LFS's. If you can't find them locally, try online at places like thatfishplace.com, bigalsonline.com or doctor's foster and smith. Kyle

I just replaced 40ft of hose on my gravel-vac (just like a python). The hose was too flexible and it got kinks in it. It started to close up in spots, and eventually sprung a leak. I have now taken the plastic components from the original gravel vac and attached them to reinforced tubing/hose that I got at the hardware store at 1.89 a foot. Expensive, but hopefully it won't need to be replaced again for a long long time.
