color of the sand?

are the play sand from HD or pool sand as white as argonite?

I found the crushed coral to be darker. Is there anything whiter than argonite?

It needs to be ocean sand size and not powder. Powder will cause too much problem for filters and vacuuming.

ADA is Aqua Design Amano, it hink more people know it as Takashi Amano..
yea the rio negro sand is very fine..
you could get ADA products from Aqua desgin group

You can use the silica sand sold in most hardwares, it's the same sand they use in pool filters, be carefull when it comes to crushed coral they use this mostly in saltwater tanks. It has the tendency to rais ph and harden the water.
