I came home tonight with some amano shrimp, my local fish store finally had them and one of my neon tetras was having a hard time swimming and had some white fluff on him. I have him in a hospital tank right now, with some maracyn (not sure if this is correct). So, I have a few questions:
Am I treating my neon correctly?
Is it possible for my other tank mates to stay healthy?
Can I put the amano shrimp in there, or could they get sick too?
Before I did my water change my ammonia:0, nitrite:0 and nitrate:10-20. I did a 20-30% water change after that.
Oh, and so far my other fish look good, 5neon tetras, 2 cherry barbs, 1 oto, and one feeder guppy (came home by accident from the store). The oto is actually for my betta tank, so I would like to move him. It is a 10gallon.
Thanks
