I have spent the last month setting up a mbuna tank. Yesterday it was finally finished.
It is a 75 gallon tank. lots of rocks and LOTS of hiding places. Water and temp is looking great. Nice high PH.
So here is my question. I have a cichlid right now in a 10 gallon tank. That I adopted under poor conditions. Ive been told he is very aggressive. He is about 3 inches in length. I have never had other fish with him.
So, do I put him in the 75 gallon first? or last? I want to avoid him killing any smaller cichlids if at all possible. What should i do?
The cichlid is an OB zebra is that matters?

if he's going to be the lone ranger in a tank of other Mbuna, definitely put him in the tank last. to mitigate much of the inherant aggression of Malawi species in general, it's best to maintain them in groups of 1 male + 4 females of the same species.
