I have a pair of blue rams, one female and one male who paired off a couple weeks ago. The female has a slight red tint to her belly but other then that they have not exhibited any signs of breeding. I figured this might be attributed to the fact that they are most likely still young. About 2 days ago the male has become more aggressive towards the female, chasing her all over the tank. I am not sure what caused this change in behavior since they were getting along fine before. Is it possible that he is ready to mate but she is not? Any ideas?
