Mystery snails with a Jack Dempsey?

The 4 Mystery snails have done a great job in ridding the algae off the plants in my 29 gal community tank; got some growing in the tank with 2 each parrots and a Jack Dempsey.

Will the Jack munch on them? He loves the little pond snails (?) I remove from the other tanks and toss in; gone in 2 seconds!
 
Anybody?
 
dont try it, even if he cant crunch the shell he will starve the snails, constantly picking on them
