what should i do with my 55g????

its currently empty and i am thinking about selling it to either my mom or dad (they are seperated), it doesnt matter who gets it because i will take care of everything :) if i sell it to my mom (thats who i live with), what should i put in it? i want to have something with cories cuz my brother likes them. how many small fish would be ok in that one tank? and what size filters should i get?

I would recommend getting 2 filters for that size tank for more filtration. Either 2 canister filters or 2 hang on back filters, or one and one. Something along the lines of: 2 Aqua clear 300s, 2 Emperor 400s, one and one, 2 Rena Filstar XP 2s, 1 rena and one of the HOBs. Its up to you. You can fit a lot of fish in the tank. Corries are commuinity fish and you could have a lot of other community fish in it also, like neon tetras, cardinal tetras, lemon tetras, danios... the list goes on.
 
Ill take the tank if you dont want it.
