native fish in zone 5 southern ontario

Hello I was wondering what fish I could get in the supermarket/grocery store that could live in a pond.
In some stores especially the asian ones some of them are alive. Then the butcher cuts it the way you like in front of you. The asian stores stink like hell though . I also hope the guy doesn't look at me weird. I've seen live lobsters in grocery stores too I don't think they'd live long in an aquarium though. Also, live crabs.
I don't think it would be a good idea to get them there, there probably half dead because of improper conditions in the tank where there being kept.If it's a big pond your planning on getting (1000+ gallon range), just go fishing and use whatever you catch to stock your pond.
