I fed my yellow tang with emerald entree or nori seaweed because it doesn't eat the other formula frozen food. And it could eat a lot. Yet in the past month, it would eat very little and not at all while my firefishes and regal tang would rush to the food whenever I fed them. Although it still looks healthy I'm concerned I may lose it. Any ideas?

Thx

What size is your tank and what are all the occupants?

55gal fish only tank with:

1 yellow tang
1 regal tang
1 longnose hawkfish
2 firefishes

Is the regal showing a lot of aggression toward the yellow? Is the regal not allowing the yellow to feed? A 55g is too small to house two tangs - that is why I ask about aggression.

Now they are very peaceful. Interesting, the yellow tang is the aggressive one. It chased after the regal when I first added the regal to the tank.

I've used these and found tangs can resist. The spirulina one's of course.

See if your Local Fish Store has them or you can always order them, but I'm guessing you want them quick. Good Luck!
