It looks like my 55 gallon has a case of the ich! I have 2 clown loaches in there - Do I need to cut the dosage in half since the loaches are in there or does only pertain to catfish and tetras. the bottle says cut in half for tetras only but I cannot remember if I read somewhere to do the same thing for loaches or if I am thinking of something else. Thanks in advance for the help!!!

I'd look into treating the ich with the aquarium salt and heat method. I used it on my one and only ich outbreak 3 years ago and have never had a reoccurance. It would be safe for the loaches and you'll cure the ich in the same amount of time without using chemicals unsafe for some fish. Just do a forum search and you'll come up with lots of good information!

Yeah, go with the heat and salt method!!! Quick cure CAN kill your clown loaches, don't use it, even at half dose it's not good for them!! :thud:
