I had a pair of male dwarf gouramis when I made the decision to try to breed cherry shrimp in the 29 they lived in I moved them into my 55 gallon. I figured the plants I had in there would give them plenty of room to hide from the aggressive buenos aires tetras. Unfortunately, I was wrong so I'm going to have to move them again. I'd like to move them into a 5 gallon tank I have that is currently empty. Is this going to be fine as a semi-permanent tank for at least one of them or should I pull the trigger on another 20 or 29 gallon tank that I'd love?

u may getawy with 1 dwarf gouramie.

doesit have to be a gourami?

there are a few other fish u could put in thr

neon tetras, small frogs, shrimp,snails.

It has to be the gourami because he's being harassed in the 55 and he'd probably eat the baby shrimp in the 29.

You can definitely keep it in a 5gal
