Anyone interested in video games? Cool game coming out tomorrow.

Theres a game called JAWS Unleashed coming out for xbox, ps2, and pc. It has over 70 creatures in the game including a giant squid. Over 25 disemberment(sp?)parts. Anyone interested in this game like I'am?

sounds like it would be fun for about 15 seconds....Syndicated games always suck, especially ones that work on gimmicks like boasting gore values...The controls will probably suck, the camera angles will be even worse and you'll spend your time wondering what's the point...It'll be like those stupid Godzilla games that keep flooding the market with their mediocrity

I've been playing video games since 1983, it takes more to impress me these days...Like what happened to good flight sims like X-Wing/TIE-Fighter, etc...Or a nice in depth role playing game....Everything good is way too short and everything long is usually not very interesting, ie. Xenosaga...never even finish that one....I've reverted back to Medal of Honor On-Line

anyway, with all the games coming out nowadays, and all the awesome graphics n stuff, for some reason I easily get fed up of them. But, one thing's for sure, I can always go back to playing that great arcade classic, Bubble Bobble, and it'll keep me interested for hours on end!!!!

oh yeah, how can i forget baby pac-man (pinball).. it was a big flop when it came out in the 80's, but a couple of years ago, the locall bar I go to got one... It got so popular that we would have cash tournaments for best high score!!!

I have the special edition pack that they released in like 98 and I was bummed when I found out that I can't play them on XP. I still have my old computer with Windows ME if I ever need a X wing fix. :laugh:

I don't know about JAWS Unleashed, but I liked the Descent series. And, why didn't Asteroids evolve into something more complicated than just adding more asteroids with each level?

TIE and X-Wing was good, and could have been improved and still have held interest..

The games I mentioned were played on PC, not a game console..

xenosaga sucked. Have you played the new Kingdom Hearts II?

WOW I just got the game and let me say somethings here. This game has like all the fish from the aquarium trade in it..even more fish like whale sharks, squids,ect. If you encounter a Queen trigger it will go right for the fins and eyes! And when you shred some people up you can actully see the bone and organs, very detailed! It's one of those games where you come home from a bad day at work and start killing things. If you keep causing havok the police will come and eventully helicopters(which you can sink them!).

I hated the first Kingdom Hearts so much I sold it back within a week...I even watched my friend play it through to the end and I was so glad I made the decision I did, and in the end he was jealous of me for making that decision...Still waiting on any game that can hold my attention...

I'm still stuck on Halo 2 on Live, but as for good games can't go past Project Gothem Racing 3, the Splinter Cells (CT is my fav), Forza, G.R.A.W, Oblivian is great (according to my bro, I not fond of), The conflict series and the V8 super cars (TOCA). I love kingdom hearts! I am still playing the first one lol. I am stuck on Riku 2 boss right now. The only thing I hate about it is having to watch the cut scenes everytime I die. I would have beaten Riku 2 already if I havent had to sit thru the dang cut scene before it over and over. Then I get sick of watching it and quit.

I liked the first Kingdom Hearts too, but sadly so far, the second one has been a disappointment for me.

One big thing that annoyed me is that the voice cast for the Final Fantasy characters didn't return.... (Mandy Moore will always be Aerith to me hahah). I also don't like being forced to use the disney characters in my team (Mulan you're not doing anything!!) hahah.

I just don't find that Disney and Final fantasy have any business together...seems to devalue the coolness of FF in my eyes...FF7 was such a great philosophical mind-bender, lets just kiddie it up with some BS Dinsey marketing...The play control was annoying, the cutscenes were lack-luster compared to old FF games (ie. FF7-Sephiroth and Ultimate Weapon scenes, FF8- the parade scene where Squall pulls up in the classic car, FFX-pan-in on Blitzball Arena) and I just couldn't care about the whiney kid and his BS problems...Ending was really pretty short and stupid too...

I think Starwars games are the most boring, Crap, Nerdy, just plain LAME games out
