I've been really busy lately, but I finally transferred my 20g, and my 10g into a 43g. The tank is 48"L x 14"W x 16"H . The only fish are my goo-obo's. All sizes, they are breeding like crazy. I want to add a school of bows, but I'm not sure what kind.

Thanks

I would recommend praecox if you can find them at a decent price.

Brody, dude!

Lemme see. For a 43g you could do a school of parva or pseudoincisus, or maccullochi or . . . here:

Click on "Rainbowfish by Size"

Anything ~3" can go in your tank. I only listed what's available in NA on that list, so there are others, but we really can't get them.

Hope that helps,

Roan

Thanks for the reply's.

Roan, how are the obo's doing? My old tank was starting to get OTS, and since I moved them into this new tank, their colors are so vibrant. The babies seem to have alot better markings than their parents, but I think some of that goes away as they age. I cant wait to add some bows!

They are doing great -- that I can tell. My daughter and I see babies all the time but only a few of the adults come to the front of the tank all the time. I need to get some of the fry out of the 75g but I haven't had time.

My big male has taken up residence in the coconut hut and only comes out to chase the other Goos away. He's been raising a lot of kids in there, but I think he's eating many of them, too. Silly Goo!

I've noticed that some of them lose color as they age, too. Mostly the females; they seem to get lighter and faded. My two nice males still have the "blood" lines on their faces and nice yellow fins.
