Red Telanthera Question

29 gallon tank, fully planted, CO2 injection, thriving. Includes a stand of Red Telanthera, which has lots of roots at each joint in the stem all the way up to the surface of the water. Not a few roots - sort of a bunch of white roots emerging at each stem joint. Not attractive.

If I prune the roots, will I injure the plant? Overall, the plants look great, but up close, the roots don't look normal. Just want to know if this is normal for Red Telanthera, and if cutting the roots back will cause damage.

Thanks in advance.

Pablo

Many types of stem plants put out side roots. You can trim them if you want and it won't cause any harm. I gave up trimming them a long time ago since they just grow back. Telanthera is a great plant btw.
