In my 29 gallon tank I USED to have: 7 zebra danio,s 1 male dwarf gourami, 4 platies. Now I have 1 platie, 5 danios, and my gourmi.

My gourmi looks weird..no physical signs of sickness. Just laying on the bottom more.

My platies showed NO sign of illness except the day they died. They got a little discolored on their stomach and their fins were clamped(bottom fins only).

In my quarantine tank I USED to have: 2 zebra danios, 3 glowlight tetras, 1 play, 3 corys. The platy and one glowlight tetra(disappeared) have died.

I am getting the master test kit next weekend!!! YES! Finally! I am finally going to a town that has a Petsmart!! woo!!!(that's the cheapest place to buy it that I can find).

So once I get all whatever is happening under control I am going to get some more fish.

I want GUPPIES! I have always loved them!

PLease make a stocking list for a 29 gallon with the fish that are left and ones I should get please. THANKS!

Please add guppies in there:D

P.S. Where is everyone? When I joined months ago this place was HOPPIN..now it's dead! :(

Ohh just go with guppies. Get a couple and you've got a tank full in a few months. lol I love them too!! I had a problem kinda like yours. I had to add antibiotics to the tank. They perked up within a day. Lost a few fish before I figured it out though.

I used E.M. Tablets. Erythromycin 200 mg. Nope, it didn't hurt any of the fish, including the guppy fry I have in the tank or my plants. Chances are great that your fish are suffering from Mouth fungus, mine were and you described exactly the signs and symptoms I experienced. On some of my fish it was obvious, but on others I had to look really close after they died to see the problem. It can become active this time of the year, or so I've read.

The package said to dissovle 1 tablet for every 10 gallons of water. I crushed the pills first to make them work faster. Take out actived charcoal before running the meds.

Print out their (Petsmart) online ad or some other one, and the chances are they will match it. Works for me and many others.

Yep, did the exact same thing the other day. A couple of the barely teenage employees had no idea, but when I asked to speak to the supervisor, he came out and said it's corporate policy to match the price. However, he would not look it up on the net for me, he insisted that I'd come back with a printout in hand. Which I did and it brought the price of my Python vac from $39.99 down to $23.something.
